I can't find my .nomedia folder or the folder it is in anymore, but the files still seem to be there

So i recently followed the advice posted here: How do I keep audiobook separate from Google Music? by Tzunki in order to keep my audiobooks out of Google Play Music. I made a .Audiobooks folder and put them all in there and then added a .nomedia folder for good measure. It worked great, but now I'm trying to delete out an old audiobook and add a new one, and i can't find the folder or any of the audiobooks.
I've tried searching for the files and the folder names, etc, but it looks like they are all hidden somehow and i can't find any of them in order to edit them. I went back to my audiobook player to make sure they are still there and played them and they play. I checked the rood folder for the files in my audiobook player and it shows /storage/emulated/0/.audiobooks (which is not where i told it to look when i created the .Audiobooks folder) but i looked there and there is some data file instead of the audiobooks, so i'm thinking it is just like a bookmark so it knows where in the audiobook i left off?

"Back up & restore" how to restore on CM 12.1

So, I installed CM 12.1 on my phone. Before that I used the Standard app from Android "Back up & restore" (Android 4.3) to backup my contacts on my SD card. Now I have no idea, how to restore it. I don't even find the file. Can I just install this app on CM 12.1?
(It's a pain to google for this app since it isn't a unique name)

Willl unlocking my Bootloader delete my OS

I have decided to install Cyanogen Mod Android 5.1.1 onto my Xperia SP[C5302].

I am about to unlock the bootloader(the first step).

I have followed the steps and downloaded Android SDK(downloaded and installed google usb driver separately) and FastBoot driver.

Am about to perform the unlocking but am hesitant in doing so because am afraid whether unlocking my bootloader delete the OS.

It's running on official 4.3 update from Sony and no custom works have been done ever since.

My question is whether unlocking bootloader will delete the os and I'll not be able to boot the phone again?

Background

I deal with a lot of galaxy S4 and S5's and spend a considerable amount of time duplicating the settings and installing the same applications on each.

Because of the repetitive nature, I'm sure there is a way of imaging a phone that I have set up then then flashing that image on others. This will save me a lot of time in the future.

Question

I have a number of questions regarding this, hopefully some one could push me in the right direction.

1. What is the best way of imaging the device?

2. What is the best way of flashing the image on a device

3.Are there any implications on using a copied image on multiple phones

Basically is there a standard way of doing what I require?

NB.1 Obviously a different image will required for the S4 and S5.

NB.2 When I say 'best' I mean, least complicated, fiddly and quickest.

NB.3 I'm not that bothered about changing bootloader and rooting, what ever is quicker and easiest is good for me.

I am making an app where i am showing some text,(lets say 20 text are there initially), I show single text on screen at once. when user swipes I change the text according to right or left swipe. I want to show user when the he is either at 1 (he can not left swipe) and at 20 (he cannot right swipe). for this I want to implement over-scrolling animation. Determine which app is drawing on top of other apps?

Is there a way to determine which application is drawing on top of other applications?

For example, Facebook Messenger app can draw the chat bubbles on top of everything, but how do I know which app is doing this?

My problem:

I have an app which is drawing ads on top of everything and I wanna know which app is doing this. Not just to uninstall it, but to warn everyone that uses this app. (I didn't install any application recently and I already verified the recent updates.)

I tried to use the Dump View Hierarchy for UI Automator from the Android Studio, but it seems that the applications that draw on top can't be selected this way.

Titanium restore vs. ADB restore. Which one is better after a system update?

I backed up my phone (HTC ONE M7, Android 4.4.2) with ADB backup -all -apk (one with -nosystem and once without it). I also backed up by Titanium Free (option system + apps). I also copied the media, download, music etc files into my computer.

Then I wiped my phone, factory reset and updated android to 5.0.2.

What would be the best way to restore the apps and the data that I had backed up?
I am worried that by restoring the apps, some of them might be incompatible with the new android version, or the old system files might overwrite the current system files and cause problems, or the residues of the uninstalled apps from the old system are also restored and make my new installation slow.

what would you recommend for the restore procedure?

Date and time resets to 1970 after every shutdown

I'm having trouble with date and time on my Droid Razr M running Android 4.4.2. Every time my phone shuts off it goes back to 1970 and I can't get on the internet or any of my apps.

Voice activated bluetooth recorder

Apps like Babbler and Automatic audio recorder are noise activated, but none I've found are Bluetooth compatible. Do you know any? Is there a way to make them recognize the Bluetooth recorder?

Same phone number with multiple extentions always get registred in the call log with one single user

LG L90 with Lollipop 5.0.2. I'm using the default factory Dialer, Call Log, Contacts app (all those options are running under the same app).

I created multiple users with the same phone number but then I add a coma (,) and then for each user use a different extension.

For example:

John Doe 1 555 555-5555, 2000
Mary Jane 1 555 555-5555, 2001
Jane Roe 1 555 555-5555, 2002

The problem is that when I receive a call from the office the call always get registered with the first user that I create with the number. For example I made a call to Jane Roe but that call get registered as John Doe or I receive a call from Mary Jane but the name on display is John Doe. With that I can not know who call me from the office. If I try to re-dial that last number it is always John Doe that shows up and then the dialer dials 1 555 555-5555, 2000 instead of 1 555 555-5555, 2001. If I delete John Doe then Mary Jane (the second user that was created), is the account that get always registered in the call log. How can I fix that?

I am using a galaxy note 5 running android lollipop 5.1.1. At times, my phone will show "Emergency Calls Only", alerting me to the loss of signal. I can restart my phone and re-acquire signal successfully. My question is: is there a way to refresh network signal without restarting the phone?

Elephone P8000 - Partition table screwed up - No /data

My Elephone P8000 was running Eragon 5.5 fine, then I wanted to flash visi0nary's kernel (_1014), so I used the method discribed (fastboot flash ...), and when I rebooted the phone, it just kept boot looping :'(
I can access CWM recovery still, but I can't mount /data or /sdcard, so it's pretty bad .... I tried to flash the stock kernel but it didn't change anything, I think my partitions are ****ed up !

When I try to mount /data with adb I get an invalid argument, and when I check "/dev/block/platform/mtk-msdc.0/by-name/userdata" with e2fsck, it says that the superblock could not be read or does not describe an ext2 filesystem ....

Silent mode on Z1 Compact Lollipop 5.1?

I have a Sony Z1 Compact. Android 5.0 had a beautiful silent mode. Pushing the power button the screen went on, locked, and when you pressed the volume button you could set it to silent, optionally for several hours.

Recently I've upgraded to Android 5.1, and this option has disappeared. The strange thing is that when I google for this, I find that Android 5.0 had no silent mode, and 5.1 has exactly what I want and how it was for 5.0 on my phone.

How can I use silent mode on my Z1C with Lollipop 5.1?

I'm running Marshmallow on a Nexus 5, and I tether it to my laptop via USB. Is there a way to configure things so that the tethering happens automatically when I plug things in? (It's 5-6 touches to turn on the tethering.)

Application as one of the desktops

Is there any launcher that provides adding a running application as one of the desktops? For example if I slap to the left from default desktop, I would get into Mail?
